Getting ready to celebrate your baby’s first birthday? My first birthday cake smash sessions – Snap. Smash. Splash. – are perfect for you!
These birthday-themed sessions are ideal for capturing your little one’s big milestone and are a parents’ favourite as they are almost a 3-in-1 session! You get:
- Snap. Beautiful birthday portraits on plain background with chair. (includes family portraits.)
- Smash. When we capture your baby having fun diving into the cake (and all the funny expression!)
- Splash. For a little relax and a few portraits in a dedicated mini bathtub.
Cake Smash North Ayrshire: How does it work?
Your first birthday cake smash photoshoot takes approximately 60-90 minutes and includes a beautiful setup of your choice, and a selection of birthday-themed decorations.
Your session also includes a matching cake baked by our professional partner.
Each session is individually styled to create photographs and artwork you will love forever: imagine, years from now, look back at your images and relive those special moments in your life.
Approximately 2 weeks after your session you will come back to the studio to view your final gallery (reveal time!) and choose which products and packages suit you best.
CAKE SMASH NORTH AYRSHIRE: HOW TO BOOK
A £50 Booking Fee is required to secure your session – this acts as your deposit and will be deducted from your chosen package.
This booking fee is due at the time of booking to secure your appointment and covers for the time in the studio, full use of backgrounds, bespoke cake, decorations, outfits and setups which are coordinated to your home style.
When you come for your viewing and ordering appointment you will be able to choose from a range of products, including digital files and wall-art.

MINI CAKE SMASH SESSIONS
We start with a few natural portraits (child only, no family portraits included) then bring out the cake for some messy fun, and finish with a little splash bath which toddlers absolutely love. It keeps them happy, engaged and gives the most genuine smiles.
Sessions last around 45 – 60 minutes and includes a professional baked cake. The setup is kept simple and clean with a timeless white backdrop and soft balloon colours, meaning the focus stays completely on your little one and the images never go out of style.
A £50 Booking Fee is required to secure your session – this acts as your deposit and will be deducted from your chosen package.
As it’s a mini session, there is no additional viewing appointment. We will quickly view your images straight after the session and you can decide on 10 of your favourites or the full gallery. If you see any products or wall art in the studio, these are still available as add ons
